This wil raise the bass roll-off frequency, but whether or not it will be problematic depends on the original cutoff frequency.If it was marginal already, then this might be enough to become audible.
Actual loss of bass output is not the whole issue, it will also tend to cause phase shift, and the bass transient response may also suffer.
