It wasn't my concept. I barrowed the aluminum/stainless-steel laminate concept from power plant industry's Cu/Fe/Cu/Fe/Cu/Fe shielding which uses the copper as a short for eddie currents in the iron & simultaneously makes the multiple copper sheets into defacto caps in the RF region. The result is a high-order shielding than if they were bulk materials insolated from eachother. I only slightly modified it to less oxidizing materials.It makes me wonder if I should line my components with the missing metal.
