The top opamps in the Stereophile article were both Burr Brown: 2604 and 2132.I have nothing against AD opamps but make sure you have room for the LC modules. They would not fit in my player. At that time, I removed and socketed my opamps and put in a pair of OPA2604. I also tried the AD827 (noisier) and the LT1364 (great).
Jon Risch is dead right - you can't go wrong with the OPA2604 but you can to a lot worse.
