Tweakers' Asylum Tweaks for systems, rooms and Do It Yourself (DIY) help. FAQ. |
|
I have just finished tweaking a relatively inexpensive tube integrated amp (name not important, just the results). I changed the coupling caps, diodes, resistors and internal wiring. I was wondering if I should also change the electrolytic caps in the power supply because I obtained incredible results with the other mods performed. Do better quality electrolytic caps make a significantly audible difference? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. BTW- the electro's that are in there now are Nippons.
