Actually I got several of your advises before winning the eBay auction. I'd have to thank you again for that.

In light of current 500MHz *digital* scope running at at $5000 and up, 485 is indeed a great scope and good deal even at $500 that so often ends up in eBay. I think I got that price mainly because there were several 485's for auction at the same time. So, price does vary.

I've checked the 485 with equipment at work. The bandwidth is actually around 500MHz!
