First, much thanks to Zakalwe for the input on my first post on this subject, but I'm hoping that Jon Risch (read: bass trap master) will provide some expert input.I have a 3x3x8 closet in my listening room (to-be) and am interested in turning it into a bass trap. Would I just stuff it with insulation then double-wallboard over it? Leave a hollow center as in Jon's traps? Seems like there are many options, and I'm hoping to be able to score a "direct hit" the first time.
FYI--room dimensions are 11x16x8, plaster walls and ceiling with treatments, rear wall is double-framed and insulated with R-19 insulation.
