Signal dropout in my DAC and PLL mod

216.13.52.5

Hi,

I've searched the archive, but haven't found a specific post about tweak to do to a DAC that unlock and output noise when anything start or stop on the mains. I add a filtered IEC, but got no change. I know that me digital cable (XLO LE) isn't shielded, but that doesn't explain why I hear a big PSSST and the lock LED flash when someone use the juice extractor or start the washing machine. The DAC I use is a c-j D/A-2b that use the Yamaha YM3623B input receiver. I checked the parts in the VCO section and they are on the limits of what Yamaha recommend. And I wonder why they use three invertor in the digital signal? Why inverting the signal before sending it to the receiver?

Thanks for your help!
