Signets are great. Don't get all excited with them. Just in-n-out motion or you will deposit some Signet stuff inside the female if you start twisting. (tight connection tears them up)Get a pack of M.G. Chemicals 'Foam Swabs' (PN# 813-50)
The Caig connector cleaning brushes are nice, too. (as are the Caig cleaners)
Canned air is also recommended (a must do/have IMO)Remember to do this service with the power off and unplugged from A/C.
I have pulled out large pieces of gold plating with Signets.
