Haven't done the edges of a LOT of CDs and finally got around to doing 'em. Did all of the CDs with ONE PACKAGE of the Audioquest stuff that was $0.25 a package. (I bought a case of a hundred packets WAAAy back, got about 40 left..) Funny how AQ has printed on the packs: use one pack for about 3 CDs... And I have to say I'm back to swearing by green edge and spiffin' up the surface. Even with mah' new 777SACD player. But I tried an idea out and don't think I will do it all the time... using a 1000 grit emery paper to roughen the edges.. On discs with a rounded edge profile it worked ok, but discs with the two-sharp-edges and a valley it seemed to break through the surface finish and may later cause environmental harm to the interior of the CDs. And I slipped twice and scratched the faces... ARRGHHH!!!!
