Hi, I thought I'd try experimenting with putting small caps across the diodes in a rectifier to kill some noise, but am uncertain about the appropriate voltage ratings. If the rectifier in the switching PS is outputing approximate 160VDC, is a 200V ceramic cap rated high enough?I seem to now recall advice about wanting the rectifier diodes rated at least twice the DC voltage, so now I'm thinking that this would apply to the caps as well.
Thanks
