I have a power supply that has 1N4004 diodes (1 amp/400volts)installed and I happen to have a few SBYV28-200 (3.5 amp/200volts)diodes on hand I would like to try in said power supply.I am wondering if there is any reason that I can not substitute these parts?
Will the lower voltage parts change the charecteristics of the power supply?
Thanks for any information.
Y.
