Hi Orejones!
I know what you're saying, but on this player the clock crystal is on the dac board which I havent put back-I was testing the controls to see if it was working correctly before I reconnected the dac board. When I plugged the player into the mains the standby light didnt come on immediately, and when I switched it on and pressed open there was another delay. When I pressed play it was registering track one,but after a few seconds it reverted back, and the motor started buzzing.I pressed stop to see what would happen and the platter started to spin at high speed-I pressed stop but no response so I tried the off switch-nothing so I had to quickly unplug it from the mains.I've checked for stray solder but it looks ok.Obviously I've screwed something up but don't know what.
