I've also found that speaker position is one thing but finding the right listening position is the OTHER thing. The last time I changed things in my system, it took 2 weeks to sort it out. The last thing to happen was finding that magical sweet spot and.......oh my! IT all snapped together, a rather amazing thing to experience.Now I get to do it all over again, I'm moving next week to a new location 1000 miles away, into a new home. oh joy...
