Hehehe.... I hate to say this, but umm... I am actually testing it out right now. The Foil does change the sound a little... the reason why I attest to this is because my system has one low-end system flaw, brightness, and the foil actually slightly changed it.I'm not going to rave to you about the foil like others... it added some good also some bad. What do you expect? The foil changes the loading on the cdp to spin the disc. Maybe it stabilizes the disc a little by additional weight and reduces errors; maybe it adds more load so there is more electrical noise with spinning the disc.
This hobby is too ridiculous.
