When I went to 14g solid core DIY power cords for all my equip the difference was anything but subtle. The entire soundstage became totally stable laid back, warmer, detailed, tighter lower bass, highs smooth and soild harsh brightness disappeared which, in my opinion is partially caused by threaded copper that will developed hash from oxidation. I would be interested in other opinions on, I know there`s a lot out there.
