Tweakers' Asylum Tweaks for systems, rooms and Do It Yourself (DIY) help. FAQ. |

Greetings inmates,
I recently added Perpetual Technologies P-1A/P-3A & Monolithic power supply to my system. My AH! Tjoeb99 is now used as a transport so I am about to pull out the Amperex 7308 USN tubes for safekeeping. While inside the Tjoeb I'll add damping pads (aluminium backed bitumen) to chassis, cover and transport.Would it be worthwhile placing a piece of aluminium or copper between the transport/digital section and output stage (from front to back of chassis) for RFI isolation (and extra chassis rigidity) ? Any other tips from inmates gratefully received.
Thanks,
Darren.
