Excellent: HAKO 936 Sodering Station

Gang:

What a difference a new tool can make. I just
swapped out a 10 year old 40w Weller iron for a new
HAKO 963 Soldering Station.

What a joy to use.

I got it at Fry's Electronics for $65. What a steal.

It makes the act of soldering so much easier.

The temp. control is accurate and allows for better control
of solder on the substrate. Surface mounts and heavy terminals
are a breeze. For the first time I could really appreciate
some of the exotic solder (wonder and other) that I've collected
over the years.

The weight and balance of the handpiece is excellent and
allowed fatigue free work. The build is first rate, cast
aluminum I believe. The handpiece cable is pliable and
feels like could be surgical grade.

I'm almost giddy....I'll probably call Doc Bottlehead and
give one of those tasty looking tube amp kits of his a try.

If your having problems sodering....maybe a new soldering
station will do the trick!
