if i reacall there was a Audio Electronics issue that discussed BNC, i believe that the author said that vampire makes a whole line of gold plated BNC connectors. I think that the place that they focused on was using them for a digital link cable (due to the constant impediance of the connectors) but i think that using them for interconnects and speaker wire were also mentioned. I dont really find spades nearly as annoying as RCA's. Still i dont like the idea of have non=standard connectors, so i just go with locking RCA's. But i can see where if one were building/ refitting a whole system using something cheaper and possibly better would be a nice idea.seems like it would be a nice idea to try something new like that...
