they are essentially tall narrow machined tiptoes that screw into the bottom of the rubber feet on KSA amps. Funny, that you ask; I just put mine on last night to elevate the amp for ventilation. One disadvantge to them is that they do make the amp stand very tall (like 2 inches). This works fine for carpeted rooms, but they make an amp look like a landing spaceship if it sits on a wood or concrete floor. Ick.
