I had the same issue, but had to purchase the bulbs locally - NAD didn't make the same kind offer to me that they did to others. The "recommended" bulbs were a lower voltage (I've forgotten the specs) as the originals generated too much heat within the shield. It wasn't a hard job to replace them myself and I'm far from a pro with a soldering iron. The end result was a display that was a bit dimmer than before, but usable and saves me from needing a new CD player until the current standards war settles down a bit more.Enjoy!
