I recently bypassed the fuses on the back of my Magnepans and liked what it did for the sound. So.... will this work on my amp? It is an Adcom GFA-555 II. It looks pretty straightforward to bypass the dc rail fuses, not so sure about the ac fuse. Or is this just a good way to turn speakers into large paperweights? I know there are lots of modifications for these particular amps and any other input on replacing components, jumping caps, or other voodoo would be greatly appreciated. Anybody feel like taking a newbie tweeker under their wing? Thanks.
