Hi there,Here are the formula's for the absolute minimum for the choke. Beyond that you can experiment. I like to go a lot higher in low voltage circuits, especially in combination with slow diodes. However becuase of the higher voltages and currents in amplifiers, and considering all the stray fields and couplings one might want to consider how the component fits in to. Don't overdo it i'd say.
for 50 Hz:
voltage / current x 1.06 =for 60 Hz:
voltage / current x 0.88 =
voltage in volts
current in amps
