Tweakers' Asylum Tweaks for systems, rooms and Do It Yourself (DIY) help. FAQ. |

I am not sure if this is the forum for this, but, I have been looking into getting a power strip for my system. As most power conditioners cost more than what I paid for my amp, I feel that they are not a cost effective upgrade for my current system. However, the power strips from Monster Cable seem to have nice tight connectors and good surge protection. They are divided into two groups: the standard and the ones with the Clean Power Circuitry. What does this 'power cleaner' do, and is it worth anything? I am usually one to only trust a good tight connection between quality metals when it comes to power.
Regards,
Sean
