My friend has had his X-cans V2 (which I warned him not to buy) for 3 mos and now the input pot has effectively turned into a scratchy noise machine. While it's still under warranty, the cost of shipping it back and forth and the wait period, all to put in another crappy pot is really not worth it. I said I'd take care of it for him and replace the pot with something nice, I havent' taken a look inside the x-cans yet or tried just lubing the pot but I was just wondering what value the pot is so I can just grab a nice one for him ahead of time. Also any suggested replacements or those of you who have already tried or info on space/clearance inside the chassis would be great. Thanks.
