I thought you were talking about making your own amp with powaer ICs like the TDAs and such. If so you need to bias them with an external circuit to get them into class-A. The class-A does not depend on voltage supply.
If you have a ready made circuit, and it's biased to 3watts in class-A, and you wonder how high a supply voltage you can give it, you need to figure the amps power dissipation capacity, and calculate it.
