Dissent

I have schematics for the 2B,3B,and 4B series. These were very hard to get.Bryston did not want to send them to me.I can understand why after seeing them.It looks like they borrowed liberally from the designs of Daniel Meyer and SWTPC.There is room for improvement in these. The input coupling cap and the cap in the feedback loop to ground should be upgraded. There are no power supply bypass caps.Try values around 22µF 100V in parallel with the main filter caps. The main filter caps in the 3B are unreliable.Bryston is running a 50V cap here with more than 50 volts on it.Replace with 63V or 75V caps.As regards the newer ST series I don't have schematics on them.I would still add power supply bypass caps to each pair of main filter caps. The 5600µF caps are wired in pairs two per each rail per channel.Buy four pieces 22µF 100V cap and add two per channel, one for the positive rail and one for the negative rail.If Bryston has added bypass caps to the power supply already you will hear no change in the sound. If they haven't you will hear a huge change in the bass.Leave it which ever way pleases you.As these cost less than $1 each it won't cost you much to try and you won't be out much if not needed or you don't like it.If you can talk them out of a schematic I would be happy to review it for you and suggest other changes to try.Regards.
