i am looking for a replacement for the soft recovery germainium diodes on the MPX board. Heard somewhere that these cannot be replaced with modern diodes. Dont know if this is true or not. Please help. I have a cracked diode, and the output 12ax7 is running very very cool, output is reduced. I suspect that the cracked diode is my problem (i'm only getting half wave rectification probably)
