Hi;
I use mono controls so I installed two mono Dacts. Since you are going through a series of resistors, they all break in at once. However, you also have each contact so, though it is a small length of metal, the contacts at each point will have to break in also. I have found the improvement to be well worth the price. To me it is almost something you have to hear to believe - all areas have improved. I noticed that even the hiss from my tweeter went down in volume after replacing my 9 year old alps pots.
