I bought the sonic frontiers upgrade kit for the MG 2.5's. It consists of both Solen and MIT caps and fairly detailed instructions to upgrade or bypass the existing caps. This worked for me. Sounds cleaner. However, it also sounds slightly brighter so if your system is already leaning in this direction, I would be careful.This advice assumes that the MG3 has mylar caps like the 2.5's. Frankly, you could do this a lot cheaper just by examining your crossover caps and getting Solen (or Hovland, my favorite) caps from much cheaper sources than Sonic Frontiers.
