Judging from its picture, the Maestro's blade grips look red-ish, more towards copper color, as oppose to the majority of outlets and plugs that have yellower color-(brass\bronze) metal parts.
IME with electrical parts, the ones who have the copper color tend to sound fuller, w\more bass, maybe this is its appeal, when compared to others that sound hard. This is why I semi hard wired my system.
