Hello

Now opamp and regulator testing on my Njoe tjoeb 4000 is done. Result is quite clear. After testing regs on DAC, headphone amp and opamps: Tentlabs is winner with a good marginal. Did not like DEXA on any of these installation, it has strange harsh character especially on headphoneamp. With opamps it was quite good, but Tentlabs makes much more microdetails and emotions are 'just right'

Opamps are now Burson's 101. If AD797 was Hi-fi compaired to original dull opamps, then Bursons are true High-End. But they have some problems..
Both do no like 1 gain but make some distortion on fast passages. And Bursons even have straight impedance from down to top. So i need cap around 10μF next to it.

Looks like i need to build a proper voltage follower to handle gain 1 + servo to remove the cap for good: http://gilmore2.chem.northwestern.edu/ubb/showpage.php?fnum=3&tid=7124&fpage=1

Did also change all PS caps to Rubycons, biggest possible for all other but last two 35v for tubes. They are now 2x2x35v/220/ZA. (might try to fit third on same size caps later) I found this cap to have very nice musical character in other places also.

Caps on signal path are 4x V-cap OIMP 1μF and two teflons of original size in the middle of the path.

Clock and PS for it are Tentlabs.
