Ah hah, I finally knew something years before Joe S did. Used that stuff starting back in the late 70's to help clean off the "scritchy-scratchies" from the volume pots on my pre-Superscope era Marantz reciever.Caution though on using the spray near plastics like are used in turntable dust covers and tuner dial faceplates (would you like to see mine!). Etches them perminately foggy. Also will remove plastic film on some PC boards.
But cleans those pots better than anything. Will try on those tube pins now. Thanks for the thought.
