I have also built the Flexy stand. To control excess wobble, I used an extra MDF shelf on the floor first. I then set the stand on top of the board. I am planning on adding an addional shelf on top of the base shelf with the apropriate number of vibrapods to couple the two shelfs toghether. I think that the vibrapods, along with spiking the stand atop the MDF shelf, would provide excellent decoupling and coupling.
