They would be fine as long as you use a covering layer of polyester batting, because at the density of the panels, they will tend to reflect some of the highs, and the batting should reduce that to acceptable levels.

I think you will find that even with the layer of polyfil, they will not equal the performance of the 6" thick DIY panels. The absorption coefficients do not take into account any reflectance issues, and are taken in a reverberant room where the sound absorbing object gets more than one chance to absorb the same sound wave. Note the coefficients that are over 1 ! Not exactly real world use.

Also note the mounting, which indicates an air space between the panel and the wall behind it, typically a minimum of 2". Not just this panel, but my panels need some air space behind them for them to work effectviely in the bass.
