Crossovers: combining first and second orders

194.85.132.67

I'm putting together a 3-way car system on Dynaudio drivers (not sure about the tweeter yet, but bass/mids will be Dynaudio MD170 and 140). Which incidentally costs exactly 500 dollars less than the same drivers packaged with a crossover.

Their recommendations (how good to supply everything up to L-pad values) are to use 1-st order on woofer and midrange bandpass. But the tweeter must be 2 order - for it's own safety at least.

What are the pitfalls of mixing different crossover slopes?

Another question is on Zobels. The woofer's own inductance (very low for the size) shows up after 1K, while the crossover cuts woofer at 600 Hz. Is there any sense to use Zobel in such setting?
