It involves hard wiring a powered switch to the CD drawer opening mechanism ribon cable , there are instruction on the internet for it , do a www.dejanews.com serch (power search) fof PDR-05 or Mike "no uys" Schuster,(I think that was his name) he had schematics etc for it. Probably about 18month to 2 yrs ago it appeared. I did it with mine , worked a treat . I deleted it cos the price od Audio Cdrs had dropped , I dont think its a worthwhile thing to do these days. You CANT stop recording if you do this , the moment you take the Cheapo Cd out , you cant re-insert it , you have to record and finalise once its in the Drawer.
The PD-o5 worked very well for me , mine was stolen and I have gone the computer route now,
