Hi Mikey.Consider getting the 5% spraycan version ... IMO, far more user friendly and "over application" would not be a problem generally due to the dilution, unlike the 100% concentrate. Over application (and not wiping off excess) of the 100% concentrate version can potentially leave some sticky film/residue over time, also mentioned by previous poster.
The diluted version works as well as the 100% concentrate when it came to treating & preserving contacts & connections.
I also use Deoxit with Pro Gold, which is also from Caigs. I tend to use more of Deoxit as it is relatively cheaper and only use Pro Gold with gold plated connectors.
Sonic benefits with using Deoxit/Pro Gold , I noticed some improvement in overall (subjective) transparency in my system, with some discernible impression of lower of noise floor ... all marginal improvements really but at least my connectors on the components and interconnects remains "shiny and tarnish free" for over a much longer period.
