Why is it that dipolar speakers should use the same size as a single monopole unit?If a bipolar unit needs twice the volume since it sees double the presure, why would an umpressured volume care what size it is? I don't ever see too many people care what size the isobaric chamber (between the drivers not the box) is in said type enclosure except to keep it as small as workable. And of course, the pressurized enclosure is halved since 2 motors are sharing the load. Why would a dipole enclosure which is also inherently isobaric be as large as a regular conventional enclosure? What am I missing? It must be obvious.
