Hi there,

I have electronic copies around, e-mail me directly.... How'z your German?
>>>>I hope it's not big.<<<<
You hope in vain. High Efficiency and decent Bass require large size. That is inherent to phyisc.... The attached (arguably not very nice) Picture shows the size.... The Driver is a 8" Unit....
>>>>Can a SE tube amp be one stage like the Pass Son of Zen Mosfet? <<<<
Well, not really. You could build theSpud-Amp, but that will do no more than 0.5W - 1W from a single Valve.... But even the Jerico Horn likes a little bit more....
The problem with the Zen (and SOZ) is that they have so low gain that you need an active Preamp, and bang, you have the second stage again, only in a different chassis.
I think the choice of the (Decware) Zen Amp is good. I'd personally get the Kit and try a NOS 6072A as Input valve instead of the 6N1P supplied.... I'd probably also try a pair of NOS Mullard EL84's....
That will reduce the Output power to about 2.5 - 3W from the quoted 5W but may be worth it....
Alternatively you could build the JC Morrison Version of the Loftin White 2A3 Amp, preferably replacing all electrolyic Capacitors the schematic shows with Ansar Supersound or Solen Polypropylen....
