If your talking about bypassing them by taking them out of the circuit, expect horrible sonics. If your talking about "bypassing" by placing smaller caps in parralel, you can expect sonic benefits. This can help some amps by cleaning up sibilance, hard / hashy highs and treble smear.The smaller caps can discharge faster than the larger caps can and would respond to short term transients much better. This is an old trick and very worthwhile if your amp seems to suffer from the aforementioned problems. Sean
