Actually I've been very surprised by the tenacity of the connection made by the lightweight bananas that Nordost offers as an option on their speaker cables. I always preferred spades for the ability to tighten 'em down, but the rolled metal Nordosts dont lose their "spring" or grip no matter how often I connect or disconnect. Oh yeah, I didnt go in to it looking for these, I ordered my cable with spades and it came with these on the speaker end. I took 'em home to try and they didnt go back.BTW, Nordost feels they are better sounding than spades and other bananas, something to do with their very low mass, but I dont really know if there is anything to that (although they are very simple, 1 part, low mass affairs)...
