I like the bare copper Cardas binding posts for sonics, but if you're gonna go to the trouble of removing the amp's stock ones, try connecting your speaker cable directly to the amplifier output wiring. Don't solder these together; you can compress the wires to each other using the Cardas posts as a screw/nut set. You may be surprised to find out how bad-sounding binding posts are.
