Use solid twisted pair wire, at least for the tweeter and mid (if a three way). It is harder to work with as it isn't real flexible, but it does sound EXCELLENT. You wouldn't really need a heavy gauge wire for the mids and tweeters, so 16 or 18 should work fine and would be easier to handle. If you decide to use this for the woofer, I would use at least 14 gauge and preferably 12. Depending on the rest of the systems electronics and tonal characteristics, you might want to use something on the order of 12 gauge "Monster" for the woofer. It will have greater bass volume and extension than the solid twisted pair wiring, but will not have as great of definition or attack. It really depends on what your looking for.
