There's probably a host of good mounts avail, whether expensive or cheap or DIY. a lot depends on the gear itself & what you want the mount to do. no experience with the MF one you listed. My place has carpeted floors, so I took a 2" thick plat from Timbernation (maple) and laid it on the floor. Next i added a set of Ultimate Triploint footers from Mapleshade. For about $210 this mount sounds amazing, transformed the sound of my Belles amp. It imaged great before, now it has bass & depth & lots of fun. having the amp off the plat a few inches can only help air circulation as well. my amp never gets warm to the touch.
BUT, this mount works off the premise that you can improve the sound of an amp (& a lot of other gear) by draining internal vibrations (inherent to the amp's operation) and send those vibes from the amp chassis into a tonewood platform. U can't use this theory/technique with granite, its way too hard.
Just laying your amp (with stock rubber feet) on top of a maple platform works OK too, but the funky footers are what makes this type of mount really enhance the sound. If you have hard surface flooring, add an isolating layer under the platform (like Isoblocks). then, the wood platform is free to vibrate and the floor vibes won't get into your gear.
