Sorry to hear of your disappointment with the Oyaide SWO-XXX. Is it the Ultimo series?Also, U don't mention what AC plug your using into the SWO-XXX? I found that an Oyaide AC plug, when mated to an Oyaide outlet, has a synergy that is very musical.
Maybe U have a plug/outlet mismatch as when I installed a SWO-XXX in my system, I did not have any of the results your describing but I did have to do a little system retuning to bring the frequency balance back in line.
Maybe U could explore the system retune avenue as once I did, the Oyaide addition brought musical rewards that were most appealing.
