No-cone suposedly "wick" vibrations down, but in reality have their own resonance frequecies, vibrapods and similar absorb vibrations fom out side(below) as well as internally generated vibes. Which is best depends on your system and taste. I have seismic sinks and symposium platforms. Sometimes, equipement is voiced with its internal vbrations included. My tubed preamps, don't seem to like siesmic sinks under them-makes them sound slow and soft. My amps seem to like them tho. you can also try combination, to tune your system as you see fit.
While I haven't tried DBR, My presonal preference is I've never met a cone I liked.
