Look in the owner's manual for your Modulus and it should say to avoid interconnects with high capacitance becasue this will roll off the high frequencies. At least it says so in the manual for my Modulus 3A. Not all manufacturers seem to be forthcoming with the electrical proerties of their wires so this may be difficult. I know that Nordost cables are of low capacitance becasue of their design and they do sound good with my Modulus (15 ft run). Only problem is their unshielded design makes them more prone than most to pick up RF. I had a hell of a time with RFI with the Nordosts. You'll probably have to experiment.
