...........damded if it didn't lower the noise floor thus allowing better focus for micro details to be heard more clearly.I ran an 18ga. wire from one of the rack frame bolts to my balanced power conditioners earth GND. Each of the 4 rack frame vertical support bolt's was measured to be 0.1 ohms in relation to the PC's GND post. I then installed a ferrite clamp in the middle of the GND wire.
I had to listen with the wire disconnected and then connected more than several times just to reinforce that what I was hearing was real and is repeatable!!
What has me puzzled is 2 of the 3 shelves are 2" granite and the other is 1" MDF mounted to the rack frame thru spikes so there is only the frame that it grounded.
Very interesting indeed and a tweak that I recommend.Cheers,
