Maybe 10? years ago I build a Curcio CD12 DAC and Daniel II preamp. For the last 6-7 years they've been in storage. But, tonight I got bored and hooked up the CD12 to the digital out on my computer sound card, hooked up the Daniel II, and then to an old NAD 3155 amp (I know, but's the only stand alone power amp I have right now) to my old school Merlin 1B's. Been listening to MP3's off the computer for the last 1 hour and I've got to say it sounds fabulous. Simply amazing sound that is taking me back in the day.....
