In my system the $40 Furu FI-15 Cu has been a great performer & a great bargain. I have a cryo'd SWO-XXX in the wall and non-cryo'd ones in my BPT PPC...they are super too. If Oyaide somehow messed up the new Ultimo versions, my $ would be with more FI-15's. I also have a cryo-d P&S from Chris Venhaus, it kinda sucks in comparison to the FI-15 though, quite bright.For $15 more, definitely try a FI-15 Cu.
i wonder if cryo'ing the new Ultimo's somehow screwed them up? I can't imaging Oyaide screwing up an improved design given my experience with the SWO-XXX's in my room, but who knows.
Cryo-parts told me the break-in for cryo stuff is twice as long, around 500 hrs for a wall outlet. I think mine took at least a month...
